How Sunny went from faking orgasms to becoming the “voice” of Mojo and having the best sex of her life

The beginning

I come from a pretty intense Christian background, so I was late to the game with self-pleasure first and then with sex generally. There’s a shame that gets baked in early, and for me it showed up specifically around orgasm: easier not to make a fuss, easier to fake it than to ask for what I actually wanted. I absorbed that from the media too, the performance of the "super fake orgasm" you see everywhere. For years, faking it just felt like the normal, polite thing to do.

The relationship that showed me what was missing

That pattern, of just faking it, found its way into a three-year relationship where the sex grew stagnant and worsened over time, although neither of us talked about it enough. I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I didn't want to be the one "correcting" him. So instead of saying anything, I just didn't enjoy it, over and over. In the end, I think that was a big part of why the relationship ended. And I think a lot of it could have been fixed by something as simple as me being honest.

"I felt like I couldn't correct him, or tell him, oh, can you actually do it this way? So instead I would just not enjoy it. In hindsight, talking would’ve solved a lot of our issues."

Breaking the pattern

Getting out of that relationship was the turning point. I went into a polyamorous relationship next, determined to have the freer, more exciting sex I felt I'd been missing. That's when I finally stopped faking it.

By the time I met my current partner, the sex was already better than it had ever been, but I could feel there was still more room to grow. I was hungry for the kind of open communication in the bedroom that I'd never had the nerve for before. I wanted to keep building that with him.

Finding Mojo

Here’s the part I still can't quite believe: I found my way to Mojo by total coincidence. I was hired to voice some of the audio tracks used in the courses — guided meditations, the exercises that walk you through getting present in your body.

One line from those recordings stuck with me immediately: focus on every sensation. I started using it as my own mantra, a way of getting out of my head during sex.

"I’ve heard that some members think the audios are voiced by an AI. That’s so funny to me (though I’m not sure whether to be flattered or insulted!). I hope they know now that it’s a real woman speaking, and that she’s been through something similar to them too."

The new mantra alone was effective enough that I decided to sign up for Find Your Orgasm properly.

The program

I went through the program in order, which is very me. Mojo’s AI surprised me most. It was so genuinely therapeutic; it drew a connection between something in my past and a defense mechanism I'd never recognized, and it caught me so off guard I ended up in tears.

I also learned things about my own body I'd somehow never come across, despite years of touching myself. New techniques, and details as basic as the fact that the clitoris is essentially the female equivalent of the head of the penis.

I noticed a real shift about two-thirds of the way through: more present, more able to say what I needed in the moment instead of defaulting to silence.

The cream

I tried Oh! Cream twice during the course, solo. I applied it and then waited like 15 minutes or so, and used my vibrator. And it was pretty great. I was thinking either this isn't really gonna do anything or it's gonna blow my head off and be way too much. But it was such a nice middle ground. It was kind of like someone holding your hand through orgasm, just making it that much easier.

"It was a treat. Something that I wouldn’t necessarily ever need or want to depend on, but something very special to have."
— SUNNY

It was a tingly, warm sensation that made everything that much better. It was kind of perfect. I ended up having 7 orgasms, which is uncommon for me. I just kept going and going and going, and then the last 3 were just like boom, boom, boom!

Where things are now

Since finishing the course, the biggest change isn't really about orgasm on its own. It's presence and communication, the same two things that were missing from that three-year relationship years ago. I say what I want now. I stay in the moment instead of disappearing into my head. And it's paid off: this is genuinely the best sex I've ever had. My partner and I have taken a full step forward, and we're still climbing, even around busy, overlapping schedules.

If you're reading this wondering whether a course like this is really for you, I'd say it's for every woman, whether or not you think you have an "issue" with orgasm at all. It's less a fix and more a support system you didn't know you needed.

It's a strange full-circle thing, being the voice on the recordings that helped get me here. But I love that it worked out that way.
