Rugilė Kančaitė, MD

Medical doctor, advisor, and women's health educator, with experience in obstetrics and gynecology

Girls learn early that pain is just part of having a female body. Rugilė's work is about undoing that lesson. She earned her medical degree at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and later worked as an OB-GYN resident before fully dedicating herself to providing comprehensive, evidence-based information on female health. With both scientific and clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, Rugilė is devoted to advocating and empowering girls and women by fighting myths and stigma linked to female bodies.
Rugilė writes and reviews evidence-based health content, speaks publicly on women's health, and puts it plainly: knowledge is a human right.
